God’s Path Anointing Oil

God’s Path Oil is a reiki-infused oil I first created on Palm Sunday (ironically) while Let The Alabaster Break/Alabaster Box played on my shuffle in the background the very moment I was creating it. That song retells the moment when Mary of Bethany broke her jar of expensive oil before Jesus. She wiped his feet with her hair in a sacrificial act of devotion. This is an act some called wasteful or sinful because they couldn’t feel the worship and conviction in her heart. Jesus defended her, explaining that her act was a profound expression of love, repentance, and preparation for his burial. I know what that feels like with people seeing my bottles of herbs and oil and assuming darkness but not the years it took for me to overcome my darkness. So yes, this bottle is a testimony of the darkness turned to light by the Grace of God’s glory. Your walk with Jesus may not always be easy but it will be worth it. Maybe your faith was forged in rehab, in grief, in silence, or in the middle of spiritual practices others don’t understand. Maybe you’ve stepped into valleys so deep that only God could guide you out. If that’s your story, this oil is an echo of His hand in yours. People will tarnish your testimony if it doesn’t make sense in their mind, but it’s not always meant to make sense for them. It is meant to make sense for you and Jesus.

There were so many moments in my 6-year journey that I wanted to give up from all the backlash I received telling me to repent, calling me a d*vil, telling me that I was going to hell, etc. There was one voice and it wasn’t louder, it was softer, more gentle but far more powerful and that was the voice of Jesus Christ telling me His plan for me. If you hold this bottle, know that no one else needs to grasp the cost of your own “oil.” Let it remind you that you’re seen, let it nudge you forward, and let its warmth connect you to the love of Jesus Christ, who already understands every part of your chapter. May it balance your faith, soften your doubt, and light the path God is unfolding just for you. 🤍
